Indoor Short Course!

19 Dec 2022 by Neb Cabrilo

Something you can do between video game campaigns and Netflix bingeing. Set up a short course in the basement, garage or other space. This can be as simple as 2 cones and do figure 8 each way or what I’m doing here with using the posts as obstacles and a piece of wood on the floor to avoid. When it gets easy move things closer together or rearrange/add new obstacles to make it more engaging.

On the trail these practices can help your slow speed control. So, super tight trails where speed isn’t possible or safe, waiting for slower traffic to clear, missing that big rock in the middle of a switchback, as well as approaching and clearing a technical climb.

Happy Holidays!
